Our journey began with small personal insights that grew into a larger vision: to create a space where people could explore mental health, holistic wellbeing, and personal growth without fear or judgment.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Ayabonga Sithole<\/strong>, our CEO, discovered her passion for mental wellness through her personal journey of self-understanding. What started as an inner quest to navigate life\u2019s challenges evolved into a mission to help others find clarity, connection, and purpose. With a Master\u2019s in Cognitive &amp; Decision Sciences from University College London, Chevening and Allan Gray fellowships, and years of experience in strategy and social impact, Aya brings a unique combination of analytical rigor and heartfelt empathy to Lulama Wellness. She mentors young people, coaches public speaking, and fosters growth spaces where individuals can step into their full potential.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Dr. Lwandile Nkosi<\/strong>, our COO, carries a rich tapestry of clinical expertise, creative expression, and social justice advocacy. From her training as a medical doctor at Wits University, to her work in community psychiatry, to her MSc in Creative Arts &amp; Mental Health from Queen Mary University of London, Lwandile has always sought to understand the mind through both science and creativity. She integrates mental health care with music, theatre, and art \u2014 believing that healing is a holistic process that engages not only the mind but also the heart and soul. Her work with neurodivergent youth and her creative projects remind us that wellbeing flourishes where connection, empathy, and creativity intersect.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Sandile Zakwe<\/strong>, our CMO &amp; CFO, brings entrepreneurial thinking, strategy, and innovation to the Lulama Wellness family. Inspired by his brother\u2019s health journey, Sandile is committed to developing solutions that improve access to healthcare while creating meaningful social impact. With accolades including the Falling Walls Foundation Lab award, as well as experience in finance, healthcare innovation, and arts leadership, Sandile embodies the belief that purpose and creativity can coexist with strategy and innovation.
